A powerful earthquake hit Tokyo yesterday: the strongest one I’ve ever experienced. It was nearly Magnitude 6, which made it the second strongest quake to hit Japan this year.
Although nothing was damaged, it was quite frightening. At first, I thought that someone was rocking my chair, but then I saw that the whole room was rocking. It was a particularly long quake and shook for over a minute. Unlike most, this was very slow and rolling, like being on a boat. Very Strange.
