Kyushu M7 Quake

This is the largest quake since Niigata, last year: A magnitude 7 quake striking the Kyushu region to the south of Japan. As you can see, the quake was felt as far off as Osaka, with instruments measuring the quake far up into the northern reaches of Japan.

My heartfelt condolences go to the family of the single victim and the 500 injured in the quake. God only knows what will happen if and when a quake that large hits Tokyo!
